| Agree. Mining(including oil), Farming, and Manufacturing are the three main sources of creating value. I remember reading the Chinese went so far as to assign economic value to different jobs. Someone grew soybeans and provided so many units of soybeans to be used. Another person worked at a car factory and many people are going to use the car. Near the top of economic value provided to society.
I am grateful for security that is provided our society, although I wish not as much would be needed.
