Where did the “1.3 million” extra corn acres harvested come from? Were they considered abandoned because the acres were flooded but somehow the super deep freeze in early December allowed the combines to run?
It would seem the extra 1.3 million harvested acres were originally going to be abandoned but something changed these farmers’ minds?
