S Illinois | With regards to the bumper yields, the annual crop production report. Lot of big yields west and N of IA. Throw in a major rebound in the south and the I’s holding serve translates to a big yield.
Weather also backs that up. Dry spring(yes I know S IL didn’t as I have the replant tickets to verify it), lots of July moisture and a sunny, cool Aug leads to big yields. The only weather not conducive was July temp. | |
