Since 2000 land prices here are up over 10X.
What are the conditions that cause a 2/3 drop in land prices?
That's what kinda worries me.
The public getting fed up with constantly giving farmers billions of $'s while land values continue to climb on property that is deemed (by public opinion) to not be paying enough property taxes.
Could lead to a double whammy of subsidy $'s disappearing and property taxes sky rocketing. It really doesn't take that much land being pushed on the market to stop pushing the snow ball up the hill and let it roll back down the hill.
Throw in age demographics for good measure. That by itself will likely put some downward pressure on land prices.
