Budget trying to stay no more than 20k.

Take your pick of pretty much anything for 3100lbs. I have a Brother in law who pulls something that sounds pretty similar with his Ford F-150, and another who pulls a bigger camper, probably 6500lbs with his GM 1500. Both use Weight Distributing hitches on those 1/2 tons. The Ford I think is a 2022, the GM is a 2015.

Both get along fine, though my dually does handle both without W/D hitches much better LOL

I have also pulled both with our old 1979 Chevy C3500, which also handles them fine without the W/D hitch. Of course I also pulled my cousin's 43' 5th wheel that weighs 16K lbs with the same truck, and it handled that fine as well, took a little bit to get the 185hp 6 cylinder Deutz up to speed with that sailboat though!!
