| My brother and I both have half ton Silverado's that have 4 wheel disc brakes, heavier springs, air ride etc. They work good for things like that.
I don't know if they were factory order that way or a dealer program.
Both were bought used so no history.
They seem to handle the load better than my other Silverado's that are supposed to be a heavy half.
He pulls a 30 ft or so bumper camper with slid outs.
His wife thinks the 5.3 is lacking, but he always gets there.
