Alpena MI | I brought 2 maybe 60# feeders in 8/12/25 and they went out 12/27 with hanging weights of 212 and 228. I have no way of verifying what the weight in was to a pound, or the live weight of them going out. pork is a nearly free byproduct for me so I never paid much attention to gains. To me it's just dollars in and dollars out. When I think they're about done I call the processor who sells them for me, and he tells me when to bring them in. You just mentioned whole shelled corn and it piqued my interest. | |
