KY

Any of the fold-out panel style ones (and I've tried 3 different brands) either don't seem to last or just aren't very bright. I got less than 2 months on one before one of the panels just quit and another just flickered more than it stayed lit. About 6 weeks ago I installed the 10,000 lumen 4 footers from harbor freight, they're bright enough at 11 feet high to bother you a bit until you get used to them. They don't "throw" a lot of light to the sides, so you need them about 8 feet apart at that height to limit shadow effect for a shop space, could probably go 12 or more if just a storage space. You can put a good chunk of them on one circuit as they something like .8 amps or so each. I put them closer together in my fab area and you could do surgery in that area, pretty much no shadows, but also has a white ceiling and two sides of it are bright white as well which doesn't hurt.
