Let the price talk. The best thing they ever did was say absolutely nothing about ethanol in E15. Unleaded 88 was great marketing on someone’s part.

Average Joe or Jane pulls up to the pump and heard ethanol blows up motors. They know 88 is more than 87 and it’s cheaper. Sounds like a win win.


Leave your farm and go talk to other people, non farmers. The ethanol mandate is well known on 87 and moves a lot of no ethanol gas as a result.

If people can read the big 10% sticker on 87, what makes you think they can't read the big 15% sticker?

The check off and related groups are why ethanol has a bad name. No push for improving the fuel, no defending it, nothing. It is why ethanol is a swear word to the general public either as a problem causer or as unnecessary subsidies.
