would like feed back from anyone that has ran Agleder Right path implement guidance basically wanting to know how well it worked especially in hilly or rolling terrain. more specific would be strip tilling and then planting. thanks Phil
I believe the only beta testing done was this spring, and doubt there were many doing spring strip tilling, then planting behind it, Probably a few but not many.
As for how it works, I was extremely impressed with it in most scenarios. On curves and contours it was amazing, on consistent side hills it was pretty good as well, but will see some tweaks here i believe. Where its biggest problem was is just peaking a side hill when the tractor had leveled out but the bar was still on the slope (think steeper slopes). This will need more work.
Hopefully you will hear from someone who actually planted behind one this spring and maybe they can speak better to how well they stayed in line with each other. For context, I have been running a protrakker hitch with their slope box for several years on the nh3 bar (13 knife) and then using the same hitch to pull the planter (16 row) and it has done pretty well doing poor mans strip till, however in some of the steepest slopes it would run out of shifting ability. This system looks to be lots better and should keep me on the nh3 strips more of the time, and even keep me off the rows even better spraying with duals on (to be fair the protrakker was good enough 99% of the time for the spraying). Guidance on RTK obviously
