south central ill effingham county | Planning on putting concrete J bunks on already poured concrete. Has anybody regretted mounting brackets on the concrete bunks. I plan on pouring a 5 inch curb for the bunks to sit on so I don't hit the bunks with skid steer when scraping manure. Our other cattle barn we poured 3 inch pipe in the concrete for our neck rail and it works good, I could get a core drill to put the pipe in the poured concrete if mounting to bunks doesn't work well. Cattle size would be 300-1500 lbs.
