If I was running the auction, I'd treat different systems and sellers differently. 

If it was easy to swap stuff like factory JD globe and screen on green equipment I'd take them off and sell separate. You can move things around and be going in 20 seconds. Lots of people want/need that stuff that may not want the machine. 

If it wasn't factory stuff, say an Ag Leader or Trimble integrated system with valves and steering modules and mounts and extra harnessing run all over the place I'd leave it.
