yes its that simple fact that most people miss.
According to the latest Iowa State University land ownership survey, around 85% of farmland in Iowa is debt free (https://farmland.card.iastate.edu/isu-land-value-survey-2025). The data would indicate that debt on farmland, at least in Iowa, is the outlier.
