So could I have them Update the 700+ to V41 for my tractor and also for a Flagship combine? I would plan on using it in the tractor and then try it in the combine just to see if it functions. Are you saying that for the combine to function that I would most likely need to have them update the combine itself? 

I find it kinda hard to understand why they would make an update to the 700 and not make it (700+) compatible will all machines currently running the older 700's. Especially now that the newest monitors are the 1200's. I suppose they are not backwards compatible either??

I may just have to wait to use it in the combine until they make the 700+ software backwards compatible for older machines. Otherwise why even produce the newer version of the 700, why not just stick with the 1200?? CNH monitors definitely are behind JD tech. unfortunately!
