FIL calving in
“Big Open” always had thermoses of hot water with him—-his

‘Go to’ warmup was mix with a can of condensed milk and ride in pickup under heater till they warmed up.

Asked him once where nearest calving shed was “I think there’s one about 10 miles thataway—but it ain’t mine”

Most trouble free set of cows I’ve ever seen.
