Buhl, ID | We looked at it and it wasn't much to set up. Just need a couple cheap cell phones and mounting brackets in the loader and feed truck. First 30 days are free and then $200 or $250 per month up to 1000 cows. It will tell you how much is in the bay so you can plan feed deliveries better. There are still ways to cheat if the feeder wants to.
EZ Feed has been around a lot longer and is more expensive to set up but the monthly subscription fee is about the same as MILC.
When you spend a quarter million per month on feed, $250/month to know how it's being used is a no brainer imo. | |
