Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS | 10-15 years ago I bought a 2006 Cadillac DYS from the bank where my wife was working at the time. It was a repo and I bought it for what was owed on it (one years worth of payments on a five year note). The loan officer who had done the repo told me that he was only able to get one key with the fob. I checked with the local GM dealer and almost fainted when they told me what a key and fob would cost. I went online and bought a chip key and a fob. Got the local locksmith to cut the key and followed the instructions in the owners manual to program both key and fob. Did the whole thing for $105. Dealership would have been over $400. |
