Do you have a retail store near you that sells used phones or previous year models? Here, I have purchased the last two or three phones from a place called Phone Exchange. They don't carry the latest models and their used ones seem to be "lightly used". Their prices are reasonable and I've gotten a few years out of the ones I've purchased.
