| Doing some thinking on the comming markets.
Trying to figure how "variables" would impact the markets.
So I looked up the top 5 buyers of common commodities
HRWW- Mexico, Philippines, Japan, South Korea, China
CORN- Mexico, Japan, Colombia, south Korea, Canada
SOYBEANS- China, Mexico, EU, Egypt, Japan
GRAIN SHORGHUM- Mexico, Japan, Vietnam, India/south Korea
RICE- Mexico, Japan, haiti, South Korea, Canada
PORK- Mexico, China, Japan, South Korea, Canada
BEEF- Japan, South Korea, China, Mexico, Canada
OIL- Mexico, Netherlands, China, Canada, South Korea
Any surprises ???
The thing that surprises me is, how we look down our noses at mexico...poor people...they are blamed for much of the immigration problems, drugs...etc.....yet....they might be our best customer.
If the are so broke and down...how can they afford our products...and what happens when one on your biggest customer leaves ??
Another thing that caught me buy surprise...Colombia was in the top 5 buyers of us corn.
