Years ago I bought a car and only came with one set of keys,  another salesman lived in the same town as myself . I kept calling the dealer asking  for another set , we will look into it, finally callled the salesman in my town and told him do I have to change my name to ( used a big farmers name that bought a lot of vehicles from there ) next day they were in my car .   

And yes the sales people should always ask for another set when trading in the vehicle.
