Those super XL's were a good saw. Had one years ago until it locked up. Think there might have been a mix up with gas cans.......
Around here, Homelite Super XL and McCulloch 10-10 chainsaws dominated. It was always fun on a cold Saturday morning to pile into a pickup truck with family/friends, load up on some sausage biscuits and cut a load of firewood.
Of course once the truck was loaded, it was VERY important to wedge the saw into the wood such that everyone could see if the saw was a Homelite or McCulloch driving around town and home - LOL! |
