East Central, Nebraska
no one is going to notice a stolen device on an a true rtk radio/modem network. i could see how it would be easy to track with a satellite subscription as the OEM's are the ones setting up the subscription and those details are part of the process, but i have been around rtk networks enough to know there is no way i am aware of that would notify an rtk network/ base provider of a gps receiver serial number, and to go even further a serial number on a display. i suppose unless the network requires those details in the subscription process but even then someone would have to care. deere seems to want to know what the details of the devices out there are being used but i cant see where any of the other companies and network providers seem to care. unless there is something you have seen that i haven't.

i would think if someone is selling a stolen device there is a pretty decent chance it could go unnoticed in certain situations.
