KY

RecreationalTillage - 1/9/2026 10:39 What brand did you go with? Planning to purchase one within the next year.

I went with the Halo 9K. Use is just for building/maintaining street/drag cars so didn't need anything overkill. Everybody brags on the Wildfire lifts, so got to doing some digging, they hide it well with the usual "engineered and designed in the USA" but they're chinese made just like most of the rest. I figured if I was going to buy a china lift, I might as well save a few bucks, I got everything you could possibly get, enough drip trays to fill most of the open runway area, the air bridge jack, additional bridge plate for use of a manual jack, additional bracket for mounting the pump/motor on the rear of the post vs the side of the post so it would all roll through a standard garage door, for just about the same money as a standard wildfire. Might have spent an additional couple hundred or so. AI search found me a $500 off code that worked along with a 10% off sale they had going when I I ordered it in early December. I have a friend with a wildfire and while it's been a few months since I looked at his, I can't look at my Halo and see anything subpar when compared to the Wildfire.
