How does the tag system work there? I'm surprised you aren't overrun with the AR and nightscope crowd.
I think folks can use calibers as small as 5.56 / .223 which are the most common AR calibers. Missouri has an estimated deer population of 1.4 million, so a lot of deer. But, I'm frugal and don't really want to spend $280 for a permit that allows me to hunt anywhere in Missouri and since it was near the end of the season. I was hoping to find a farmer with a deer problem, or just wanted to get a few more deer off the property, and I could put a few in my freezer.
