Don’t see why you couldn’t build a box stationary frame attached to the posts at both ends. Then, within that frame, you have another frame with hinges on one end. Then, attached to the frame with hinges, mount the gate with hinges on opposite side. Gate would swing individually one way and then would swing opposite with swinging frame.
