| I have a 4 post lift. Instead of buying a heavy rolling bridge. I want to build something that will span between the ramps. And allow me to use a bottle jack to lift vehicles up off of ramps. It would be nice to slide it. But i dont think it would require wheels to roll. It is 43 1/2" from ramp to ramp.
Would a piece of rectangular 2X6" tubing spanning 43 1/2" be enough to support say 6000 lbs.? Any ideas? it is about 6 1/4" or 7" from concrete floor to top of ramp. And has trays on each ramp for the tray to slide in. As shown in pic.
