Ag Leader CAN A modules are Ag Leader proprietary.
I would guess that the sprayer you are considering has an Ag Leader Liquid Product Control module for rate and section control. See the picture below. This is not ISO bus.
This would be a black box with the words Liquid Product Control on it. It would have plugs in the various ports leading to a flow meter, control valve, section valves, Power/Ground and a CAN connection to the rest of the system. If so, then the module would work with most Ag Leader displays such as the Insight, Integra, InCommand and others.
Check for the words Liquid Product Control Module. If it is in fact an Ag Leader Liquid Product Control Module then it will not work with a Deere 2630.
These Liquid Product Control Modules were produced for many years and I have personally used them in a variety of situations with good success. Each situation involved an Ag Leader display (Insight or newer) and a switch box in the cab.
At this time I have one in a Hagie sprayer and also our corn planter for spraying while planting. The Liquid Product Control module is no longer produced and has been replaced with a more sophisticated arrangement referred to as L2. The L2 can be expanded with other modules for a very sophisticated system. The older arrangement works fine for us.
In order for the Liquid Product Control Module to work properly it needs a switch box arrangement in the cab as well as an appropriate Ag Leader display. Hopefully you would get the switch box arrangement as part of the deal. Maybe not, as the salesman may want to sell "as is" which might not include the switch box arrangement since it can be used in other situations and the previous owner of the sprayer may have kept it. There are two different approaches for the switch box both of which work equally well.
Should you decide to go the Deere route, the Ag Leader components should have good value on the secondary market.
