Subject: Injector Pump Fuel Leak on MF 4243

Middle Tennessee
I got a MF 4243 tractor and the diesel injector pump started leaking where the pump bolts to the camshaft gear on the engine. It started out as just seeping fuel to leaking a lot now. It seems strange that if it leaking in that area it would leak into the engine through a bad seal on the pump shaft where it bolted on like it did on my old MF 275 tractor. But there not been any fuel in the engine motor oil yet. I looked at the pump while the engine was running to see if it was leaking at fuel line connector or bolt that screwed into the pump that had a bad O ring maybe. But best it can see the drip is at bottom of the pump mounting flange plate. I included a picture and part illustration to show what I trying to describe.

I at the point I think my only choice is get the tractor in my shop and take the pump off and take to an injector shop to be fixed.
I just wondering anybody had this problem or this the right direction to go ?
Thanks for any help and advice.
