| The Supreme Court is scheduled to make an announcement of the legality of the tariffs today that were implemented under the IEEPA without congressional approval. Chatter is that the tariff action will be ruled illegal with a possible refund of collected tariffs to importers. Since this only deals with a percentage of tariffs imposed, will this be a major market mover showing a shift in checking the executive power? Or will this be a long drawn out process as they scramble to keep hold of the tariffs through a different executive action? | |
