Marcellus, Mi | I guess it all depends on preference. For me I couldn't justify it on time savings because it takes me very little time to drop feed. Feed lines are refilling while I'm breeding so no time loss. As far as data goes I've been doing it long enough to know which sows aren't eating. And if a sow or sows lose their tag they still eat. I don't have to check for non feed events on the computer.
I have had feed grind situations that caused it to take hours and beating on a bin to get drops full. I really don't know what your option would be with electronic feeding.
Did I also mention that I'm cheap and don't like fixing or replacing expensive things.
Also I'm about 40 miles from Clemens and still haven't been able to get in. Hauling 120 miles to Indiana packers.
