and when land sells for more, property tax collections go up which goes to teachers, local school district, community colleges, special education, universities, fire dept, county jails, roads and courthouse services like register of deeds and social workers. (at least here in NE)

edit to add: everyone who eats benefits by securing the food supply in surplus (aka cheap food - no riots)

Im for abolishing the USDA so all the above will go away...
