| It is not the least bit surprising. When pop croaked, the number of people who tried to remind sis and I about what a great guy he was was "interesting" to us. But one thing was universally true in all cases. Not a single one of them was there on that farm when he was doing his thing. Not a single one.
I don't hold that against them and I don't hold your opinion against you. Sis and I finally came to the conclusion that people who haven't lived under a tyrant's thumb will never really understand, no matter how much it is explained to them.
But one thing that I KNOW for sure, there are people out there reading this shaking their head in agreement. I run into some once in a while. I have seen it talked about on here in the past. I'm probably dumb for speaking out about it, but if just one tyrant sees the error in his ways and works to change, it is worth every bit of it. Like I said, I am not the brightest. lol | |
