| I never understood that thought, especially where I am.................Owners would have people, most often neighbors who would help them out alot at night after work just because they loved it, cared about the land, and couldn't afford to buy anything themselves not having family farming, those neighbors would never take anything just did it because............Owner got sick, then would pass away and the farm got passed to completely useless kids that never did a thing there, farm was then sold and houses would grow. The farm owner would always bloviate that he would never want to see houses on it and would like it stay being farmed, whether full or part time.......................Ok, if that was the case why didn't you give a deal to the people who cared about it and helped you for nothing rather than a bunch of loosers???????????????? Made and still makes absolutely no sense to me. | |
