I've tried to instill in my sons a sense of pride in keeping the family farm going for generations. I am fortunate that both have returned to the farm and I am transitioning it to them. They will be the fourth generation on this particular farm, but it goes beyond that. Both sides of my family and my wife's family have farmed for generations before this particular land.
It is not the dirt beneath us that demonstrates our success in this world, but rather the people that we have created, nurtured, loved, and set free to find a calling that keeps the world a better place. | |
