Reminds me of the 1950ies.....No seat belts in those days for anyone
Seat belts were a dealer-installed accessory in 1956 for Corvettes, and came installed in the 1958 model year
In 1959, Volvo Car Corporation came out with the three-point seat belt, which was installed on their vehicles. Other OEMs were offered to use their design, free of charge, but here in US, I believe a federal mandate was required before OEMs installed 3-point seat belts.
In 1961, the state of Wisconsin required vehicles to have front seat belts, but no law requiring them to be buckled up.
