Without a doubt no till it. You'll fight root clumps for 2 years. Burn it down with roundup and 24d in the spring. If you're going to plant beans use innoculant. How is the fertility and pH? Around here most hay fields are mined with no fert applied. Beans dont like low pH and poor fertility. Corn is easier to deal with if its depleted and low pH. I know some people swear by putting beans after hay but I've had much better luck with corn
