+1 to what Gerb said. We run Opi Blue - probably at least 5 years now and the chimney effect is crazy. Based on my experience, while its still cold in summer, the grain is nowhere near what you think it was when you chilled it. A few weeks of warm and wind and you can just watch the temps rise. The Opi blue app allows playback to any time frame you want and so you can watch the migration.
People are kidding themselves thinking that because they froze their corn in winter, will will still be frozen in july. Not going to happen especially if you don't cover your fans. I do think that the centrifical fans are much worse than axial fans though but maybe its a wind direction to fan oreintation thing here.
