At least the taxpayers get something (cheaper raw feedstock for food and fuel) out of paying for over production.   

The vast majority of tax payers get absolutely nothing out of paying not to produce (CRP).  

That said, cut it all.   Let the markets sort things out.  



In grains & oilseeds cheaper raw feedstock doesn't really give the consumers much as the processors/retailers tend to keep their prices up

On a positive note for humanity its better to have a little more food than we need

Surprised farm payments and programs do not get push back as we are very small voting % . Idk what Joe Public knows or thinks of farmers today
