Osage iowa
We were all spring anhydrous up front for years but we kept having stripes in the corn between the knives on corn on corn mostly, a few years ago we got our own sprayer and have been doing between 40 to 60 lbs of n in 32% and a few gallons of ats along with a pre chem, usually harness. That little bit of 32% really gets the corn going faster at the beginning. We cut back the 32% this year because of the cost spread. We’re still spring gassers for the bulk of our nitrogen. Money wise I’ve never done a side by side comparison but we figure if we’re running the sprayer over it for chem just as well put some 32 and sulfur. Are you using a pre and how are you getting sulfur if using only anhydrous?
