Ran into this same problem with a Case 450ct. Contacted my salesman as soon as I got it home and saw that it wasn't going to work, he talked with danuser and came and looked at it and pretty much said "that's the way they are and we're not going to do anything about it". Ended up building my own adapter that bolts into the factory faceplate that lowers the mount down so that I can let it down low enough to open the door.
