I wouldn't say the drone itself leads to higher yields, but rather it opens up other possibilities that can lead to better performance. If you could spray 2 passes of generic fungicide for the price of 1 (paying another applicator) would you say that'd increase your yields? On a year like last, that answer would be absolutely in many areas with heavy southern rust pressure. Or if you want to experiment with micros or other foliars you can hit it whenever you want to and not worry about the application costs

For beans, if you got known areas of white mold pressure, you could map those spots and hit em multiple times and not have to wait on someone else's schedule
