Northwest Iowa | Yes. They never stop coming and will be completely covered in seeds even if they only get a couple weeks. Having the same problem now with Wooly Cupgrass. It keeps germinating into August and even though it isn't a competition problem it keeps increasing the seed bank.
Just to add, had a neighbor spend a TON of money on hauling in gypsum and never saw any results.
Also, since we started cultivating conventional fields we noticed waterhemp hates a cultivator. Waterhemp close to the row that should have no business dying just seems to give up when its roots get pruned. Was unexpected and I really don't understand it.
