SE MN | Fire burns up not down. Put the dryest smallest stuff on bottom and pile the big logs on top. Most brush piles are not dense enough. If you are burning wet wood the fire needs to get hot enough to dry the water out of the wet wood so it can then burn that wood to dry out the next piece. gogo juice can help get things hot enough to get rolling but you will probably need to keep piling it up so that the wet wood stays on top of the fire, it will not burn sideways. | |
