| “The poor get poorer “ that is a line that gets used a lot. And has no truth to it. The so called poor in our country have access to all the basic needs of life plus “needs” that would be considered luxuries in many other countries. Not saying there are not people who fall through the cracks but they receive a subsistence too if they seek it.
