as a kid and young adult, i really like the Louis Lamour audio books with all the live action sound effects. I've grown into enjoying the Bill O'reilly "killing" books and thoroughly enjoyed "Killing Jesus"
One of my favorites of all time was Mathew McConaughey's memoir "Greenlights" audio-ed by himself. very entertaining and well voiced.
