West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | Do some quick research on on the two main ingredients of Creatine monohydrate which are sarcosine and cyanimide...cyanimide just might trigger a bomb sniffing dog while going through TSA airport security. ;-)
Cyanamide is a highly reactive, white crystalline compound used in agriculture as a fertilizer/defoliant and in medicine as an alcohol deterrent by inhibiting aldehyde dehydrogenase, causing unpleasant reactions to alcohol. It's a precursor for creatine and other pharmaceuticals, but dangerous if mishandled, decomposing into toxic fumes or exploding with heat/acids/moisture.
I asked myself the question that if those same ingredients were listed on a food item nutrition label what would be my opinion?
I'll stick to eating red meat, poultry, fish/seafood, eggs, maybe drink an occasional glass of milk...and hope for the best. |
