I am as white as anybody, I have traveled outside the US and when I come back in, I had to go through customs just like anybody else. Passport, paperwork, etc. If I didn’t have them, I wasn’t getting in. Also, if I get stopped for speeding or place officer wants to talk to me I better have drivers license to prove who I am. Able to provide them a Social Security number so they can look me up.
