In the floods of the 90s they built a quick temp clay dike on part of the river.

After it was deemed contaminated soil with the river water on it. So they piled it on a low spot to decide what to do with it.

Couple years later some city gals built a mini golf and organic city garden on the clay knoll. It didn’t produce well so they got a lawn service co to haul in free compost and a another lawn service to put in free irrigation system.

Told us all how much healthier and low energy cost their 2 acres of garden produce was than what we farmers raise.

Just shake one’s head…..
