Thank you, that is great info. If you are familiar with this area, would 77 south to just after Beatrice and then west on 136 to Fairbury and then south on 15 and west on 8 to Chester and then to 81 and south be a good way to go?
You're welcome. I haven't been on those roads lately, but they are probably okay.
Another route (that I travel often) could be Hwy 77 south of Lincoln a few miles and then turn west and go through Crete and past Dorchester to Hwy 6.
Take Hwy 6 west to Hwy 81 south and go past Geneva on your way south.
