West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
"Gurgling" sound...coughing all night...wore out.

With the information provided...you've probably got pneumonia even if your immune system has already killed the "flu" virus???

After our experience with our son last year about this time with a bout of Mycoplasma bacteria (common walking pneumonia)...go get a chest x-ray and blood test for every respiratory virus/bacteria known to man, and find out what is/was causing the infection instead of calling it "a flu."

Then, take/do whatever is prescribed by a doctor to finally kill possibly a common virus that Vicks and other home remedies have failed to kill before you wind up at a respiratory ICU with the worst case of double pneumonia the respiratory ICU has seen since before covid like our son did.

We learned the hard way last winter that sometimes a persons immune system is completely overwhelmed due to a perfect storm of multiple circumstances that it just can't overcome even though it has many times in the past.
