After our experience with our son last year about this time with a bout of Mycoplasma bacteria (common walking pneumonia)...go get a chest x-ray and blood test for every respiratory virus/bacteria known to man, and find out what is/was causing the infection instead of calling it "a flu."
Then, take/do whatever is prescribed by a doctor to finally kill possibly a common virus that Vicks and other home remedies have failed to kill before you wind up at a respiratory ICU with the worst case of double pneumonia the respiratory ICU has seen since before covid like our son did.
We learned the hard way last winter that sometimes a persons immune system is completely overwhelmed due to a perfect storm of multiple circumstances that it just can't overcome even though it has many times in the past. |
